Blue Bullet: Cobalt Crack Shot by Midnight-Cobra Blue Bullet: Cobalt Crack Shot by Midnight-Cobra
Ahhh, here we go! The second of a new legion of superheroes that is slowly taking reign over my mind... One that, if it continues and I build up a suitable array of heroes, I may have a decent Graphic Novel Story for!

Anyway, Here be the Blue Bullet

I don't really know how I came up with this one. I think sorta said "If I were a Superhero and didn't have any powers, what would I do?" Then I looked over at my Fedora, and thought of all the times I've been to shooting ranges and... this happened.

Actually, this particular Superhero is sorta distressing. See, the Name "Blue Bullet" is already taken by Marvel. Unfortunately, their use of such a great name blows donkeys. Seriously. A guy in Bullet shaped armor (wtf?) flying around forced to betray the USA because his brother is being held by the Nazis... and instead of kicking the Nazi's asses, he decides to do as they say. Oh, and they recently killed the character, but they still own the rights to the name I'm sure.

...But you know what? Screw Marvel! This is my character and the only thing he has in common with that pussy is an accidental name and I'm not gonna change it to anything else because everything else I've tried sounds stupid!

(Yeah, watch this get taken down by a report happy douche...)

Anyway, Blue Bullet doesn't have nearly as much of the Backstory I've constructed for Psycho, but here it is anyway.

-------------------------------------------Blue Bullet's Backstory--------------------------------------------------------

Thomas W. Casing was born into an upper middle class family where he lived a ostly average life. He always had a particular love for movies, paricularly action movies and especially if they involved Gangsters. He also had an extraordinary mind, and an affinity for inventing things out of household objects.

When he was 14, his father was beaten to death by a man wearing brass knuckles. This enraged Tom and he started training with his father's highly extensive gun collection, in an attemt to try and "purge the world of all criminals." Quickly becoming a near perfect shot with almost any weapon, he soon went on his first patrol, scouring dark alleys and streets for muggers, rapists, and other wrongdoers. Finally it happened, and he was attacked. He easily overcame the man that attempted to mug him and quickly pulled out his 45, but found himself unable to kill the man.

Instead opting to knock him out and drop him off at the police station, he decided to invent a number of guns and ammunitions that would not be lethal, but would easily incapacitate any attacker or evildoer. Also, to complete his superhero identity, he designed an outfit based on the 1920's gangster movies he enjoyed so much. as well as gadgets that would fit that motif. He now protects the citizens as the Blue Bullet.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Blue Bullet name is (C) Marvel... sorta
This particular character is (C) of me.

Bullet-shaped armor.

I like this guy. The costume, name, and motif would make him fit nicely in the DCU. And exploding cigarettes are made of win.

ONLY thing is, his origin just makes me think of Batman. That's only because it's nigh-IMPOSSIBLE to have a "murdered parents" story and not ring of Batman. >__<

I have some superhero characters I came up with a while back, when I wanted to make a dark, serious superhero story. I love the characters and set-up I made, but could never make a story to make it all work.

Yup...

I thought so myself really. He's similar to Green Arrow in a way. And they really are aren't there.

Yeah, I felt that too. But honestly it was really hard for me to come up with much of anything else that makes sense... of course, Blue Bullet is pretty different from Batman for the most part.

Well, I have an idea in mind for a contest that might be right up your alley then...

That's why I've tried to come up with origin stories that are still traumatic, yet don't involve murdered parents. Because there's a whole plethora of things that can destroy your childhood. XD

Yeah. It was easy to come up with the proper origin for Psycho and Bio. Abuse and Girlfriend killed by a suspected Soviet Insurgent. Blue Bullet was really hard for me though. I honestly couldn't think of much else other than a killed Father (though his mother is still alive).

Mmm. My chief super-character Elegy has a pretty sad one. She starts off being completely paralyzed except for her left arm from a car accident, she's offered the chance to be healed by an agent from the bad guys pretending to be her friend, she's given the cure and also intentionally mutated as a result, is kidnapped and brainwashed by said bad guys, breaks free from their control but is forced to go back to them because the bad guys have her mother hostage...and that's all BEFORE the actual story begins.

...Wow. That's gotta leave her pretty messed up. I'm almost surprised she didn't end up a villain.

She actually does at one point. I'm a sucker for Superpowered Evil Side and Not Himself moments. :)

Ahh, I myself tend to not enjoy it as much when the hero goes bad... I much prefer evil clones and doubles.

Screw Marvel and report happy douches. I like your Blue Bullet a lot more. It makes more sense than a guy in bullet shaped armour.

Glue projectiles and cig grenades. Those have got to be the best weapons I've seen in a while.

(Can I buy a glue projectile?)
