Sheila: I am not understanding, Kurt. Why is it you want me to dress in this?

Kurt: Come on, Sheila! You’ll look good!

Sheila: You are not thinking I look good as I am anymore?

Kurt: What? No! No! I never said that!

Sheila: But then why?

Kurt: It’s for the costume party, over at Cowspots’ place.

Sheila: …Now I am very not understanding. What is a costume?

Kurt: Well, sometimes humans like to dress up in things that make them look different. Those are costumes. It’s fun!

Sheila: People are not satisfied with how they are already?

Kurt: Uh well… maybe? Huh… you know, I’m not sure.

Sheila: You humans are weird…

So this is for 's Halloween costume romance pokemon contest.

...While it's odd that I would do something halloween related, I figured I wanted in on this for a couple reasons. First, I've been kind of dry for ideas lately, so I felt this might be a good way to get back into the game.

And it turns out it was, because the second I saw "Romance theme" I realized that I had no established couples, or at least none that I wanted out in the open as of yet. So it ended up with me messing around a bunch of ideas I had for a video game recently into an entirely new story, and my coming up with an entirely new story.

Everyone say hello to Sheila and Kurt.

Sheila is an elf from another universe. She escaped into ours after a number of bad events happened to her back in her own. Including, but not limited to, the apocalypse.

Sheila was taken in by Kurt, a young ex-soldier who was discharged from the military when he was rendered parapalegic by a piece of shrapnel.

The story focuses around their relationship and the trials they have to endure as fantasy starts merging with reality in this universe.

Anyway, this picture turned out well. Kurt as you can see, is dressed as a Poliwrath (something I actually dressed up as in 4th grade!) and he's trying to get Sheila to dress up as a Gardevoir, but Sheila still doesn't understand all of our customs it seems...
